Michelle Loglia-Schmidt is a professionally trained photographer, painter, mother, lover of the sea. Michelle earned her BFA in Photography and Graphic Design from Towson University in Baltimore, Maryland. After graduation, she went on to complete her teaching certification from Humboldt State University in Arcata, California. While there, Michelle immersed herself in the art culture of the area. She took many art classes from inspiring local artists at Humboldt State, College of the Redwoods and attended photography and Photoshop workshops at Cal Berkeley. Her transition from film and darkrooms to digital photography and Photoshop was a slow transition, she eventually gave in and fell in love with the modern medium. Taking her love for film photography & the wave of the future in digital photography Michelle now fuses the two mediums.  Expect Michelle to come armed with a digital camera as well as one or two fun old school film cameras. Offering fine art wedding photography in film & fine art family lifestyle sessions in film or digital or a beautiful fusion of both.
